About Me
My journey in health started in Western Medicine. I have been a certified dental assistant for 10 years. While simultaneously assisting chair side, I completed a Bachelors of Health Science degree from Clayton State University in 2020. I attribute my interest in Holistic Health; to taking a Complimentary Alternative Medicine course in undergrad, as well as starting my own spiritual journey. After asking questions that none of my colleagues had answers to, I started studying a plethora of different healing modalities. From there my interest in Holistic Health snowballed, and I decided to pursue an extensive in-person certification in Holistic Health. Currently, I am studying Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at the Doctorate level at the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. While in school I work part-time as an Herbalist in a herb shop south of Atlanta.
As a person, I am mom to a 6 year-old French bulldog, and I love trying local cafes, restaurants, and supporting other herb shops and botanicas. I also collect Funko pops, and love DIY projects.
