About Me
I have worked in pediatrics since 2012 but have always been passionate about lactation due to my own struggles while breastfeeding my son. I made it my mission to help others and have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2021.
I had issues with supply, latching, pain, & an undiagnosed tongue tie but also struggled with postpartum anxiety, depression & OCD. I specialize in perinatal mental health & feel that it's a vital area to take into consideration with lactation. I am a local La Leche League leader & feel that peer support plays a role in both success & confidence.
I am married with a teenage son & have two fur babies, Daisy & Gunner. My family & I are members of Grace Baptist Church. I pride myself on being a Christian & feel my role is to glorify God through my work.

I specialize in perinatal mental health so I will always take your mental health into consideration when forming an appropriate care plan for you.
I have additional education regarding oral ties, such as tongue tie or lip tie, to properly assess and refer for further evaluation. While I do believe oral ties can be over diagnosed, I do feel they are also under diagnosed and I aim to bridge the gap on improving education surrounding the concern for oral ties.
Returning to work after being out on maternity leave is already overwhelming enough but then we have to make sure we are able to pump milk for our baby's while away from them as well. I have worked with a multitude of different pumps and flange sizes. I will help appropriately size you to ensure you have the correct flange size and review how to use your pump to effectively remove milk and protect your supply.
