About Me

With 29 years of dedicated service as a registered nurse, the last two of which I have also been a health coach, my extensive experience across various specialties has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of how to care for people. Having worked in Long-Term Care, ICU, Labor and Delivery, and Infertility Treatment, I have learned the importance of empathy, precision, and adaptability. These fields of health care provided the means to expand my love of learning about different aspects of life and living.

I believe that true health extends beyond the absence of disease and encompasses physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Communication and collaboration with clients, families and interdisciplinary health teams is crucial to creating an environment which leads to better outcomes. My holistic, preventive health care approach underscores my commitment to fostering overall wellbeing and advocating for a healthier, more balanced lifestyle for all of my clients.

Expertise

Top Specialties:
1) Navigating infertility treatment with clarity
2) Transitioning into parenthood
3) Work-life balance

Infertility treatment can be intense and very confusing. I coach you through your treatment cycle by reviewing the plan together, helping to demystify terminology, explaining how things are done, and giving support throughout the process.

Parents-to-be are told many horror stories and old wives' tales regarding parenthood, which leads to a lot of confusion and, sometimes, fear. We know many of the material things that need to be readied but don't think about the mental, emotional, and physical preparation. I coach new parents through questions to discuss, whether single or partnered, so that the transition is a smoother process.

Many people who work outside of the home, or remotely from home, notice that their health declines as they devote more time to their work and less to themselves. Success levels in 12 different aspects of their life are assessed to determine which ones need more, or less, attention. The client learns and develops techniques that can be sustained in order to achieve healthier, happier longevity.
