About Me

My journey into this field began with a deeply personal experience that shaped my passion for helping others. Originally from Paris, France, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world, but it was in the United States that I found my calling and eventually settled down with my family in Ohio. My diverse background has allowed me to see healthcare from different perspectives, and I've integrated these insights into my approach, focusing on empowerment and personalized care. My approach to occupational therapy is rooted in empathy, innovation, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. I provide evidence-based individualized services, focusing on neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself—and I use cutting-edge tools like the Interactive Metronome, LudoFit and NeuronUP to enhance cognitive and motor functions. By tailoring each session to the specific needs of my clients, I ensure that the care they receive is not only effective but also meaningful to facilitate participation in your day-to-day activities.

Expertise

Top Specialties:
1) Neurorehabilitation/Neuroplasticity
2) Dementia Care
3) Interactive Metronome Training

I specialize primarily in neurorehabilitation and neuroplasticity, dementia care and interactive metronome/game based approaches. As part of my neurorehabilitation services, designed to help my patients with neurological impairments regain control over their cognitive and physical function, I provide evidence-based individualized services, focusing on neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself. I use cutting edge tools like Interactive Metronome as a training program that improves timing in the brain, challenging thinking and movement sitting or standing. As a Dementia care specialist, I focus on identifying early signs, providing strategies to compensate for cognitive declines but also strategies to slow down the progression of those declines to maintain a safe and a good quality of life. Additionally, I focus of educating staff and family members on how to assist their loved ones with dementia while allowing them to maintain their dignity, sense of self and independence.
